RGH Corporate Director of Food and Beverage

Overview: This is an opportunity to lead the food and beverage effort for multi branded hotels and event centers to achieve revenue objectives.

Purpose of the Position: To provide the expertise, drive and entrepreneurial spirit to assist in the continued development and management of the hotel food and beverage teams to maximize the revenue performance of hotel restaurants and meeting/catering outlets through the successful implementation and execution of a targeted effort.

Location: Wilton, NH, with travel to hotels.

Position Summary:

The candidate will contribute to the profitability of the Company by effectively developing, managing and executing the food and beverage process for RGH Hospitality, LLC, and leading the local food and beverage teams to exceed revenue and service objectives.

The ideal candidate has full service multi-unit food and beverage management experience, with knowledge and training in evaluating and executing plans that get results. The candidate has experience in developing people, leading teams and creating annual business plans that include key result objectives and financial objectives.

In addition, the candidate must possess a high level of energy and is passionate about F&B and has the ability to inspire individuals and teams to achieve superior results and think creatively outside the norm to provide unique guest experiences. They must also exhibit strong communication skills, both verbal and written, exhibit an urgency to get things done and demonstrate outstanding leadership and drive.

Responsibilities:

  • Maximizes the revenue opportunity by evaluating and executing plans that get results.
  • Must have ability to train and develop teams to achieve results.
  • Follows and knows trends in the industry and evaluates how to incorporate them into our product offering.
  • Is continually aware of new concepts to stay current in the industry.
  • Develops menus that reflect the concept and current industry trends consistent with the branding concept.
  • Knows how to match the presentation and service to the delivery of the concept.
  • Has assisted with promo plan development to drive revenue.
  • Can develop a pro forma and mapped out an organization chart to operate a profitable operation.
  • Knows how to generate revenue and control costs to make money.
  • Is entrepreneurial and sees beyond the current day.
  • Multi location experience with a track record of exceeding financial targets.
  • Knows operating costs and can develop an operational business model to maximize results.
  • Builds and executes business plans with a track record of performance.
  • Has had full P&L responsibility for bottom line results.
  • Has experience in developing annual business plans that include key area objectives and financial budgets.
  • Has experience in a high volume restaurant operation.
  • Travel to individual properties on a monthly basis to conduct f & b meetings, evaluate performance vs plan and develop plans to close revenue and service gaps.
  • Possess Multi brand knowledge of Hilton, Marriott and IHG products and the brand sales tools.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Windows XP or newer, Work, Excel, MICROS POS, NCR Aloha POS and Outlook
  • Must be able to provide concrete examples of past performance that exceeded plan objectives.
  • Possess the qualifications; and provide backup references of having managed the food and beverage effort for full service and/or boutique independent hotels and event centers.
  • Must have a verifiable record of strong community active involvement.
  • 10 years’ experience in full service hotel and/or free standing restaurant operations.
