Scope: Within the limits of corporate policies and approved budgets and in line with Roedel Companies management philosophy, the General Manager of this Full Service Holiday Inn Hotel, complete with Retail Restaurant outlets and Banquets/Catering has the responsibility and authority to meet or exceed the performance standard objectives of each key result area.

Key Result Areas

The Company operates through management process and the KRA’s for the company are: Free Cash Flow, First Class Condition, Guest Service, Asset Protection, Revenue Production, Employee Development and Financial Reporting.

Operations Manager of RGH Hospitality, LLC

Direct Reports

Director of Sales and Marketing, Food and Beverage Manager, Executive Housekeeper, Chief Engineer and Front Office Manager

Finance Process staff, Hotel DOS, RGH Revenue Manager, ROK Builders, RSJ Associates, Brand support staff, RGH President, Employee Development Director, Hotel and Food and Beverage Operating Teams, and our Valued Guests

Team Member of:

Hotel Operating Team to provide the leadership and direction to develop hotel plans and processes to provide the coaching to exceed all hotel KRA performance standards.

Methods of Reporting:

You will be required to produce a monthly control report outlining the status, gaps and actions on all Key Result Areas.

Minimum Requirements:

  • The ability to perform each task and duty in a satisfactory and timely manner.
  • Possess the qualifications; and provide backup references of having overseen the Sales and Marketing effort for a Full Service Hotel, as the Process Owner for the Sales and Marketing Team.
  • Must have solid Income Statement review background, identification of gaps to achieving top line revenue, STAR Reporting analysis, and ability to identify gaps to achieving House Profit/ Flow Through goals as set by operating budget.
  • Must have strong verifiable background in Maintaining Hotel property at First Class condition levels, overseeing Maintenance Department and Housekeeping to achieve.
  • Verifiable strong background in Food and Beverage with both Retail Restaurant outlets and Banquets/ Catering experience.
  • Must have a verifiable record of strong community active involvement
  • Thorough knowledge of the Westchester County Market, its critical market drivers, assets and challenges. Knowledge of the market competitors and key local officials.

Education/Experience:

Requirements include a minimum of 5 years Full-Service Hotel, General Manager, with high quality Restaurant, Banquets, Catering and Sales Department reporting.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business, technical procedures, company journals and government regulations.
  • Ability to write reports and procedural manuals. Effectively deliver all required information to managers and coworkers

Computer Skills:

  • Typing skills
  • Windows XP or newer, Work, Excel and Outlook
  • Working Knowledge and use of Micros/Opera PMS and Micros 3700 POS

Physical Demands:

The employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, kneel and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds
