Mr. Roedel is a Partner and a member of the company’s Management Team.  The team is responsible for the development and implementation of the strategic and annual business plans.  In addition, David is the business development team leader accountable for developing and executing the annual business and real estate development plan, including but not limited to new hotel development, acquisitions and investments, third party sales, marketing, and public relations.

Prior to forming Roedel Companies in 2000 with his father, Fred B. Roedel, and brother, Fred B. Roedel III, David acted as Director of Real Estate Development for Chalet Susse International where his responsibilities included acquisition and development of Susse Chalet and Grand Chalet hotels throughout the northeast and mid-Atlantic.  At Roedel Companies, David permitted and developed hotel projects in New York, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire including the award winning Hilton Garden Inn Manchester (NH) Downtown.  David is a contributing author for New England Real Estate Journal’s “Hospitality Spotlight” and has served as a panelist at both The Lodging Conference and Hunter Hotel Investment Conference.

Mr. Roedel stays active in the community by serving as a director on various boards including the Boys & Girls Club (Manchester, NH), Big Brothers Big Sisters (Nashua, NH), New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, while also volunteering as a varsity football coach at Bishop Guertin High School.  In 2009, he was named as a member of New Hampshire’s “40 Under Forty” by the Union Leader.  David graduated from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.  He resides in Manchester, NH with his wife and daughters.
