Mr. Roedel is a Partner and member of the company’s Management Team. The team is responsible for the development and implementation of the strategic and annual business plans. In addition, Fred is the President of ROK Builders, the wholly owned subsidiary of Roedel Companies, accountable for developing and executing the annual business plan including new hotel construction, renovations, and major maintenance projects hotels for third party owners and investors.
Prior to forming Roedel companies in 2000 with his father, Fred B. Roedel, and brother, David, Fred was a Partner at Currier Capital, a boutique investment banking firm specializing in raising debt and equity primarily in the hospitality business. Fred also worked in real estate for Chalet Susse International locating and permitting Susse Chalet hotels throughout the northeast and mid-Atlantic. Mr. Roedel’s expertise includes structuring and sourcing private debt and equity, real estate development, and construction management and is a contributing author for HotelExecutive.com
Outside of his efforts with Roedel Companies, Mr. Roedel is involved with several organizations. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua, is Chairman of the Daniel Webster Council’s State of NH Friends of Scouting campaign, and is on the Board of Directors of the Partridge Society at Norwich University. He previously served on the Board of Directors of the United States Rugby Football Union and was President of the New England Rugby Football Union for over 15 years. Fred received his Masters of Business Administration from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Norwich University.
