Tad M. Schrantz – Managing Director-Project Development
Mr. Schrantz is a member of the Roedel Companies Operating Team and Managing Director of Project Development. The Roedel OperatingTeam develops and implements Roedel Companies’ strategic and annual business plans. As Managing Director for Roedel Companies, Tad is responsible for managing and directing the organization’s Purchase to Completion process for all company owned developments as well as third party investors. By establishing and managing performance standards for Project Development, Mr. Schrantz fully manages project scope, controls costs, achieves on time schedules and ultimately delivers optimal free cash flow to hotel owners and investors. He also contributes to the sales process by creating and maintaining relationships with owners and developers.
Mr. Schrantz brings over 25 years of experience in construction, architecture and real estate development to Roedel Companies. Most recently, he held the position of Chief Operating Officer for ROK Builders, LLC, the construction management affiliate of Roedel Companies, responsible for the renovation and construction of Roedel Companies and third party hospitality projects. Prior to joining Roedel, he served as President of The MacMillin Company, a privately held commercial construction management and design-build firm focused on corporate, education and public projects and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for MH1889, LLC.
Tad is actively involved in the community and shares his experience with many organizations. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Monadnock Habitat for Humanity and MoCo Arts Building Committee. Mr. Schrantz has also served as a member of the Cheshire Career Center Regional Advisory Board, Lions Club, and The Colonial Theatre.
He received his Master’s Degree from University of Colorado at Denver and Bachelor of Science in Finance/Investment Analysis from University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. Mr. Schrantz is an Accredited LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Professional and a recent member of the American Institute of Architects and Associated General Contractors of America. In addition, he is a licensed architect in Colorado, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
