Hospitality Solutions - History

The management team of the Roedel Companies has a shared history of achievement in the hospitality industry going back 40 years. In 1968 Fred B. Roedel started Chalet Susse International. It became the largest private hotel company in the Northeast through its signature brands, Susse Chalet and Grand Chalet Hotels. Over thirty-two years, Susse Chalet developed, built, owned and managed over 65 hotels.

Glenn Hardman, President of Hospitality Solutions, is a 25-year veteran in the hospitality business. During his time at Chalet Susse, Glenn worked in a variety of positions rising to Regional Vice-President responsible for 20 hotels. In 2006, Roedel Companies and Glenn formed Hospitality Solutions to operate its own portfolio of hotels in addition to pursuing third-party management contracts.

Hospitality Solutions currently operates two Hilton Garden Inn hotels, one Holiday Inn Express & Suites, one Hampton Inn & Suites, and two restaurants. The company is actively pursuing management contracts in limited-service, mid-scale, upscale and extended stay market segments throughout the Eastern United States.
