ROK Builders has completed twelve major hotel renovations on behalf of LQ Management, LLC, the parent entity of La Quinta Inns & Suites over the past three years. ROK Builders acted as the Construction Manager coordinating all scopes of work, bidding, contracting, project supervision and the delivery and installation of all FF&E items. At one point in time, ROK was renovating six of these properties, three in New England and three in Maryland, simultaneously.
The projects scopes of work consisted of over 1,400 guestrooms and baths, ADA guestroom and public area compliance, corridors and public areas. Each project was completed on time and on budget, capitalizing on value engineering which saved the owner approximately $80,000 on one project alone. ROK Builders worked very closely with the hotel management ensuring the schedules that included completing and returning an entire guest floor to operations every 12 working days was accomplished.
BMA provided the architectural design services and specifications necessary to convert the existing hotel properties into La Quinta Inns & Suite hotels for six of these twelve projects.
