Assistant Dean Becomes Food & Beverage Director for Hilton Garden Inn Manchester
Manchester, NH June 9, 2008 – RGH Hospitality, a hotel management company with over 25 years experience operating national and regional brands, announces this week the appointment of John Knorr as the new Food and Beverage Director of .the Hilton Garden Inn Manchester. Knorr left his position as assistant dean of Southern New Hampshire University’s (SNHU) Tourism and Culinary Management program in order to take the position.
Knorr is already hard at work implementing changes in order to meet the Hilton Garden Inn Manchester owners’ vision of making it the preferred destination for both travelers to Manchester as well as the residents of the city and surrounding communities. One of the first changes he made was to create a new menu for the property’s outdoor dining venue, The Patio. The Patio is uniquely situated directly on the left field wall of the Fisher Cats’ baseball stadium.
“It is an honor to have the opportunity to work at such a one of a kind property alongside a very energetic and creative culinary and service team,” says Knorr. “The owners, who embrace creative thinking, are truly wonderful to collaborate with.”
Knorr brings over 25 years of hospitality experience to the Hilton Garden Inn Manchester. In addition to his role as Assistant Dean at SNHU, he taught Hospitality and Tourism Management and was General Manager of its Hospitality Center.
“We are thrilled to add John’s food and beverage expertise to our hotel management team,” says Glenn Hardman, President of RGH Hospitality, which handles all aspects of managing the Hilton Garden Inn Manchester. “John shares our company’s’ commitment to exceeding customer expectations by delivering world class guest service and consistent product quality. He has made an immediate, positive impact.”
