An Adirondacks Icon Reopens

Following a four-year, $35-million restoration, Hotel Saranac is re-opening in the Adirondacks. The thoughtful restoration of the 1920s icon includes 82 reimagined guest rooms in the main building and 20 more suites in Compass Point, an adjacent complex. Campfire Adirondack Grill + Bar will showcase North Country’s top artisans and producers and the Great Hall, with its ornately painted grand beams, boasts a fireplace and speakeasy-inspired bar. After a day of hiking, kayaking, or snowshoeing, guests can pamper themselves with pine, birch, and maple-infused therapies at Ampersand Salon and Spa. From $199
