David Roedel Named to Hilton’s Curio Owner Advisory Council

WILTON, NH—David W. Roedel, business development officer for Roedel Companies, was named to Hilton Worldwide’s inaugural Curio Owner Advisory Council (OAC). Roedel will serve a three-year term. Hilton has established OACs to give a voice to the broader owner population. Among those eligible for the OAC are executive-level leaders, individual and institutional owners, long-term and new Hilton owners, and owners of multiple Hilton and competitor brands. Among the 12 properties owned and operated by Roedel Companies are five Hilton brands, including Hilton Garden Inn properties in Manchester, NH, and Fishkill, NY, and Hampton Inn & Suites of Lake Buena Vista, FL. The two newest Hilton brands in the Roedel portfolio are Hotel Saranac, Curio Collection by Hilton, in Saranac Lake, NY, which is scheduled to open later this year, and Homewood Suites by Hilton at Riverbridge, which recently broke ground in Berlin, MA. Council members are nominated by corporate brand leaders and must be approved by the global brand head before being named to the advisory council. OAC members will attend three in-person events and several webinars each year, including this month’s Full Service & Lifestyle meeting in McLean, VA. Click here to view article at HotelBusiness.com
