Digging in at Hotel Saranac

A crane sits in the parking lot of the Hotel Saranac Wednesday, next to a hole in the ground where a fuel tank was removed. The hotel’s current owners, the Arora family, have signed an agreement to sell the property to New Hampshire-based Roedel Companies. The deal hasn’t closed yet, but the hotel is now closed, its front door is chained and locked, and no one answers its phone.
