The Falls Event Center Partners with Chaos and Kindness
Manchester’s Newest Event Center Hosts Unique Marriage Ceremony
WILTON, NH – The staff at The Falls Event Center in Manchester is well-versed at planning weddings, receptions and other special occasions. They work with guests to meticulously attend to all the details and make sure each event is special and unique.
That kind of planning normally takes months. But every once in a while the window to bring those plans together is much tighter.
Like 24 hours.
That was the case recently when The Falls Event Center staff had less than a day to help plan a ceremony and reception for a Londonderry couple featured on the television show Chaos and Kindness. The staff pulled it off, donating the facility and their time for the event.
“We were so excited when the show came to us with their idea,” says Leah Bellemore, Marketing Manager for Roedel Companies. “This really aligns with our company core value: investing in the communities we serve.”
Roedel Companies owns The Falls Event Center at 21 Front Street in Manchester, right off Exit 6 on I-293. With 7,000 square feet of event space, The Falls Event Center has quickly become attractive to a wide variety of corporate and social events since opening last year.
Chaos and Kindness is produced by the New Hampshire-based performance band Recycled Percussion and is aired on WMUR-TV. The latest episode featured an elderly couple, Pat and Patty Sheridan, who lost their home to foreclosure.
To help bring awareness to the couple’s situation and celebrate the couple’s loving relationship that has stayed strong during 42 years of marriage, the band reached out in April to The Falls Event Center to help plan a ceremony renewing the couple’s vows.
The ceremony was held on April 18 and attended by approximately 200 people from around New England who became aware of the event through the band’s social media.
“It was really touching to see the love the couple had for each other,” says Kate Sussman, Sales Manager at The Falls Event Center. “And it was also fulfilling to be part of such a special event and share it with so many people who came to support Pat and Patty.”
