Hilton Garden Inn Executive Chef Jason Jette Named American Culinary Federation’s Chef of the Year

MANCHESTER, NH- The Hilton Garden Inn Manchester Downtown, owned by Roedel Companies and operated by RGH Hospitality, has announced that Executive Chef Jason Jette has received the 2013 American Culinary Federation’s Chef of the Year Award. The accolade recognizes an individual who has demonstrated the highest standard of culinary skills, advanced the cuisine of America and has given back to the profession through the development of students and apprentices. The Chef of the Year Award is given out annually to an outstanding culinarian who works and cooks in a full-service dining facility.

As Executive Chef at The Hilton Garden Inn Manchester Downtown, Jette is responsible for meeting the high quality standards for all food preparation, production and control for food outlets and banquet facilities. Jason is in charge of hiring, training, scheduling as well as overseeing and participating in the preparation, cooking and presentation of food at The Hilton Garden Inn.

Jette received his Associate Degree in Culinary Arts from Southern New Hampshire University in 2008. Prior to the Hilton Garden Inn, Jason spent five years at the Crowne Plaza in Nashua where he worked his way up from Line Cook to Banquet Sous Chef. He honed his culinary skills further while working at Stonehedge Inn before accepting the Executive Chef position at the Hilton Garden Inn in 2010.
