Hilton Garden opens in Manchester
Date: May 24, 2006 - MANCHESTER - The first new Queen City hotel in more than 20 years has opened. The Hilton Garden Inn, situated at the south end of Manchester's Millyard, opened last Wednesday. The six-story, 125-room hotel overlooks MerchantsAuto.com Stadium.
"The Hilton Garden Inn is an upscale hotel that offers guests a wide range of amenities that will make their stay exceptionally comfortable and enjoyable," said David Roedel, a partner of Roedel Companies LLC, the owner, construction manager and operator of the hotel, in a prepared statement. Guest room amenities include a hospitality center with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker; complementary wired and wireless Internet access; a desk and ergonomic desk chair and a flat-panel high definition television.
The rooms feature king-size beds that automatically adjust to the contour of a person's body and weight. Additional amenities in the hotel's five Clock Tower suites and four two-room suites overlooking the ballpark include a spacious living area, wet bar and bar seating, and 32-inch flat screen television.
Room rates range from $150-$200 per night, depending on room type.
