Jason Jette Appointed President of American Culinary Federation Professional Chefs of New Hampshire Board Of Directors
WILTON, NH— The American Culinary Federation (ACF) Professional Chefs of New Hampshire recently named Jason Jette President of their Board of Directors. In this role, Jette will lead the organization in promoting the best interests of individuals and students engaged in the culinary profession. He will oversee budget planning, monthly board meetings and the development of training classes and seminars that benefit members. Jette will also represent the organization at Regional and National ACF conventions.
The Professional Chefs of New Hampshire is one of five New Hampshire chapters of the ACF, serving the southern part of the state (Concord/Manchester/Nashua) and Northern Massachusetts. David Quimby, Past President of ACF Professional Chefs of New Hampshire, explained that Jette has been active with the organization since he was a high school student and most recently served as Treasurer.
“Jason has a thorough understanding of the culinary industry and the assets required to be successful,” stated Quimby. “This appointment provides Jason with the opportunity to grow not only professionally within RGH Hospitality but to develop further leadership skills with colleagues at a state-wide and national level.”
Jette is the Director of Food and Beverage at RGH Hospitality, the hotel management subsidiary of Roedel Companies. He oversees all food and beverage teams operating within the RGH Hospitality hotel portfolio. Jette is directly responsible for revenue generation and operating expenses, while maintaining a consistent focus on culture, guest satisfaction and product quality at each property. Prior to this position, he served as Executive Chef at The Hilton Garden Inn Manchester Downtown which is also managed by RGH Hospitality. During his tenure, Jette was responsible for meeting the high quality standards for all food preparation, production and control for food outlets and banquet facilities.
Jette received his Associate Degree in Culinary Arts from Southern New Hampshire University in 2008. He is a recipient of the 2013 American Culinary Federation’s Chef of the Year Award, an accolade that recognizes an individual who has demonstrated the highest standard of culinary skills, advanced the cuisine of America and has given back to the profession through the development of students and apprentices.
