Roedel Companies Announce Project Team For Hotel Saranac

Renovations will bring the property up to modern standards while preserving its historical charm

WILTON, NH – New Hampshire-based hotel owner/operators, Roedel Companies, have selected the architectural and design teams required to complete the multi-million dollar renovation of the Hotel Saranac in Saranac Lake, New York. Built over 80 years ago, Roedel Companies is restoring the Hotel Saranac to its historic grandeur and repositioning the property to meet the needs of today’s travelers. The Hotel will remain closed during construction and reopen in 2015.

ROK Builders, the hotel construction affiliate of Roedel Companies, is overseeing the renovations and Freeman French Freeman, Inc. is the lead architect on the project. The organizations will work in tandem with their historical consultant, Kimberly Alvarez of Landmark Consulting in Albany, NY, to bring the property up to modern standards while preserving the layout and character of the building.

• North Woods Engineering—structural engineer
• North Country Construction Services—site superintendent
• Rist-Frost Shumway—mechanical, electrical and plumbing
• RSJ Associates—interior design and procurement services
