WILTON, NH— New Hampshire-based hotel owner/operators Roedel Companies announced today that they have donated 6,800 meals to the New Hampshire Food Bank, a program of Catholic Charities New Hampshire. The food will be distributed to over 422 non-profit registered agencies across the state. The donation will also support the New Hampshire Food Bank’s Recipe for Success Job Training Program, a platform that helps individuals gain the skills and experience necessary to seek employment in the food service industry. On a weekly basis, students prepare and deliver 3,000 hot meals to registered agencies including Boys and Girls Clubs of Concord and Manchester, Families in Transition, Bring It, Manchester Continuum of Care and Hampshire House.

David Roedel, Managing Member of Roedel Companies, stated that their partnership with the New Hampshire Food Bank is a natural fit for the company in many ways. He explained that in addition to the donation, approximately 70 employees volunteered their time sorting canned goods and frozen food. “This is just one example of how we give back to the communities we serve,” said Roedel. “It also allows us to support our own industry by providing the Recipe for Success Job Training Program with the tools they need to develop and cultivate a skilled workforce.”
