Holiday Inn Express Merrimack Presented with Quality Excellence Award

WILTON, NH — Holiday Inn Express & Suites Merrimack, a Roedel Companies hotel, has been awarded the 2016 Quality Excellence award for product quality and service from the Intercontinental Hotel Group.

IHG, which has over 5,000 hotels including Holiday Inn Express (HIEX) and Holiday Inn brands, will present the award to the ownership and management of the HIEX Merrimack at the Venetian Las Vegas on June 20. HIEX Merrimack is also ranked among the top 100 HIEX hotels in North America.

HIEX Merrimack has consistently ranked high in guest ratings, including a 97% recommend rate and quality assurance scores averaging over 95% for three years running.

HIEX Merrimack also scored high for being environmentally conscious, including participation in IHG’s Green Engage program, the greener stay and low temperature laundry services that reduce a hotel’s carbon footprint and drives the bottom line. HIEX Merrimack was also recognized for its community service, which includes raising thousands of dollars to support, among others, the Merrimack Chamber Scholarship fund, Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth and the Merrimack Rotary Club.

Roedel credits employee training for an enriched guest service experience. He says keeping employees motivated and maintaining success is a high priority.
