Wilton, NH March 17, 2009…ROK Builders is pleased to announce the successful simultaneous refurbishment of nine Fairfield Inns by Marriott. The project entailed renovating 1,007 guest rooms and bathrooms, corridors, public areas, and exteriors. The nine Fairfield Inns by Marriott are owned by subsidiaries of OZRE FFI Holdings LLC, which is controlled by Och-Ziff Real Estate Advisors LP, an affiliate of Och-Ziff Capital Management Group LLC.

“Forward thinking hotel investors like Och-Ziff Real Estate Advisors know that investing in maintaining their hotel assets in top form results in longer asset life and increased profits since the maximum number of rooms are in service at all times, operating costs are lower and guests have a positive experience,” says Fred Roedel III, President of ROK Builders.

In order to expedite the schedule and reduce room revenue displacement during the renovation of the nine Fairfield Inns by Marriott, ROK Builders broke the project up into three phases, completing three hotels in each phase. The schedule for each hotel involved renovating each guest floor and returning the guestrooms to service in less than two weeks. Throughout the process, ROK Builders took great care to ensure guests' safety and comfort at all times.

Since 2004, ROK Builders has successfully designed, built or renovated 40 hotels throughout the Eastern United States. The firm’s national hotel brand experience, in addition to Fairfield Inns by Marriott, includes the successful renovation and construction of multiple La Quinta Inn & Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites and Holiday Inn Express properties.
